10/29/2023 0 Comments Lowrey organ model theatre![]() I love my VTPO and my Roland, but a Lowrey will meet you at the level of your playing. Now you have a sound that is huge and great for big final choruses. A cool effect that really sounds great on the Marquee (you could do this before on prior models, just didn't sound as striking) is to select another organ type (diapason, organ string, etc) and use the drawbars and combine with the Lowrey flutes in an ensemble voice at multiple pitches. All while keeping the top half of the screen on whatever else you choose, drawbars, preset specifcs, etc. The screen that shows what all voices are assigned to is very handy, you can see at a glance what is on and where - and touch the voice to edit, change, reassign. They are up to 352 styles, many are song specific, but have alternate intros, fills, and endings to allow use of the style without the obvious connections to the song in mind. ![]() The voices remained the same as on prior models, but the realism and blends are light years better. ![]() I noticed these vids also - I can tell you from hearing Jim Vogelman play the Marquee and playing it for an hour, the sound set is now in the same league as a Roland or the ELS-01.
